Internally, the Motorola G64 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, marking it as the first phone worldwide to feature this processor. This chipset includes eight cores, a 6nm manufacturing process, and achieves a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz. It seems to be an enhanced version of the Dimensity 7020, with slightly higher performance. The Motorola G64 5G is available in two configurations: the base model offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the higher-end version includes 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both variants support up to 1TB of external storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 14 with My UX on top. Motorola has committed to providing one OS update and three years of security patches for this phone.
Camera and Battery
Talking about the camera, this phone features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary lens with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera that also functions as a macro lens, utilizing Quad Pixel technology for an effective resolution of 12.5MP. The front-facing camera is 16MP and supports facial recognition.
Likewise, the Motorola G64 5G is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with 30W TurboPower charging, though it includes a 33W charger. The phone also offers dual speakers and dual microphones, a hybrid SIM slot with region-specific eSIM support. Not only that it also comes with wireless connectivity options including 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.3, and six-way navigation. It lacks NFC support but includes a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired connections.
