The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, unveiled on March 4, 2025, is the latest addition to Nothing’s smartphone lineup, offering a blend of innovative design and new cameras.
Design and Display
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro showcases a distinctive design that blends transparency with functionality. Its translucent back panel reveals internal components, maintaining the brand’s signature aesthetic. A prominent feature is the large, circular camera module housing a triple-camera setup. Like always, the Glyph Interface, composed of customizable LED lights on the back, provides visual notifications and interactive features. The device also introduces the Essential Key, an AI-powered button designed to enhance user productivity.
As for the display, the Phone (3a) Pro features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 387 PPI. This display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and responsiveness.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, built on a 4nm process. This octa-core CPU consists of one Cortex-A720 core at 2.5GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 710 GPU. The Phone (3a) Pro comes with 8/12GB of RAM and offers up to 256GB of internal storage.
Likewise, the device runs on Nothing OS 3.1, which is based on Android 15, and the company promises up to 3 major Android upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
Battery, Charging, and Others
The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 50W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. For biometric security, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
