Design and Display
The Nothing Phone 3a features a transparent design with a pill-shaped camera module, resembling Pixel phones. The Nothing Phone 3a Pro has a larger camera bump with an asymmetrical design. Both models maintain the Glyph interface. The Phone 3a has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Performance and Storage
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Series processor, which includes an octa-core CPU with a 2.5 GHz primary core, plus three performance and four efficiency cores. Qualcomm claims this chip offers 15% better CPU performance and 20% better power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It also features an upgraded Adreno GPU and a Hexagon NPU for improved AI performance. The Phone (3a) runs Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 and promises 3 years of major Android updates. It comes with 12GB of RAM (with 8GB virtual RAM) and 128GB/256GB of storage.
Camera and Rest
The main camera has a 50MP sensor with OIS, along with a 50MP ultrawide camera. The main camera supports 4K video at 30fps. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera.
The device has a 5000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging, which charges the phone to 50% in 19 minutes and 100% in 56 minutes. Connectivity includes 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
