OPPO A5 Overview
Design and Display
In terms of design, the Oppo A5 comes in a complete plastic build measuring around 8 mm thick. The device also weighs around 193 grams, giving it a slim, modern look. It also comes with an official IP65 and MIL-STD-810H certification.
Talking about the display, we have a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 90Hz panel. Adding more on display, the display can reach up to 1,000 nits in HBM mode, so outdoor visibility should not be an issue either. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side, and the phone also supports 360-degree NFC.
Performance, Cameras, and Battery
In terms of performance, the OPPO A5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chip. It's a budget/entry-level 4G chip from Qualcomm that can handle basic tasks. It’s available in three memory configurations: 6/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB. The phone boots on ColorOS 15, built on Android 15.
For cameras, we have a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera on the back, and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Other than this, the OPPO A5 has a massive 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
