The OPPO Reno series is a set of premium midrange devices from the Chinese tech giant. The OPPO Reno 10 5G is the base variant of the Reno 10 series. This phone is the only one to flaunt a telephoto lens at its price point.Design and Display
The OPPO Reno 10 5G comes in a similar design package to other members of its series. This is to say, it comes with a premium-looking design with a curved glass finish. It comes with a pill-shaped camera island housing three cameras on the back. It comes in two finishes i.e. Silvery Grey, and Ice Blue. On the front, we have a 6.7-inch 3D AMOLED display with minimal bezels and a hole-punch camera cutout. It has an FHD+ resolution spanning 1080 x 2412 pixels. This converts to a pixel density of 394 PPI. Additionally, it offers a refresh rate of 120Hz, touch sampling rate of 240Hz, peak brightness of 950 nits, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 10 5G packs the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. It is an octa-core silicone built on a 6nm process that can achieve a peak clock speed of 2600 MHz. It is also coupled with the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Furthermore, it comes in a sole 8GB + 256GB variant. The memory here is a dual-channel LPDDR4x RAM @2133 MHz and the storage is a UFS 2.2. The OPPO Reno 10 5G is stacked in the optics department. It boasts a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 64MP primary sensor. It is coupled with an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP telephone lens. The telephoto lens is surely the standout feature of this phone. Meanwhile, up on the front, we are getting a 32MP shooter for the selfies. Powering the system is a 5,000 mAh battery that can be juiced by 67W of SUPERVOOC charging. Meanwhile, it supports dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, and NFC for wireless connectivity.
