Design and Display

On the design front, the Oppo Reno16 measures 157.9mm in height, 74.7mm in width, and 8.36mm (Pop White) or 8.22mm in thickness, while weighing around 187g (Twilight Violet, Dream Purple). It uses a cold-sculpted design with an aerospace-grade aluminum frame. The phone is available in Pop White, Dream Purple, and Twilight Violet. It also comes with IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Moving to the display, the Reno16 features a 6.32-inch OLED panel with a 2640 × 1216 resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It supports up to 1.07 billion colors, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1400 nits of HBM brightness. The display also includes 3840Hz PWM dimming and Splash Touch support.

Performance and Software

Powering the Oppo Reno16 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, depending on the configuration.

On the software side, the Reno16 runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Here, you can expect five major upgrades and six years of security patches.  It includes features such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover for editing photos, along with other system and camera software features.

Camera and Battery

For photography, the Oppo Reno16 has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it features a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and support for 4K video recording at 60fps.

The Reno16 5G is powered by a 6,700mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging. It also supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity, while biometric authentication is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor.
