Poco Pods is a doppelganger in the sense that the buds are just the Redmi Buds 4 Active with a skin. It boasts an in-ear design with a long stem. The thing that separates it from the original is the color: black with a yellow accent. And that's the only color option here. Further, durability is a priority, and Poco Pods come equipped with an IPX4 splash resistance rating, providing protection against those occasional splashes and ensuring they keep up with your active lifestyle.

Audio:

For audio, Poco Pods feature 12mm dynamic drivers tuned by Xiaomi's Acoustic Lab. However, the buds only support the SBC audio codec. This means the experience might not be as expected, on iOS devices, as there is no AAC codec included here. Even if they don't feature ANC, they come equipped with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) during phone calls, ensuring that your conversations remain clear, even in noisy environments. Additionally, gamers can revel in an enhanced gaming experience with the dedicated low-latency mode.

Battery and More:

Each Poco Pod is equipped with a 34 mAh battery, which alone can deliver up to 5 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. Similarly, the charging case houses a 440mAh powerhouse that gives you a total listening time of up to 30 hours. No time to wait? Fear not! A quick 10-minute charge is all it takes to enjoy 90 minutes of music playback.

Connectivity and Customization:

The earpieces use Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. Poco Pods also support the "Google Fast Pair" protocol. Furthermore, taking personalization to the next level, the "Xiaomi Earbuds" app allows you to fine-tune various aspects of the earbuds, which is uncommon at this price.
