      PowerVision PowerEgg X Wizard Overview:

      Design

The PowerVision PowerEgg X Wizard was launched in early 2020 as a modular drone that can also function as a handheld camera. Its body folds into an egg-shaped form, weighing 522 grams on its own and about 862 grams with propellers attached. It’s splash-resistant with an IP43 rating when housed in its waterproof case and can even land on water. When unfolded, it measures 457 millimeters across, giving it a decent footprint for mid-range aerial flight.

      Camera

It uses a 1/2.8-inch 12MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and 78.4° field of view. The camera can shoot up to 4K videos at 60fps and slow-motion clips at 1080p or 720p with higher frame rates. The footage is stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal that keeps the video steady in both drone and handheld modes. It supports RAW photos, H.264 or H.265 encoding, and includes modes like AI face recognition and SyncVoice, which syncs external audio directly into the video.

The PowerEgg X Wizard has a maximum flight speed of 10 meters per second and a range of up to 6 kilometers. It runs on a 3,800mAh battery that offers around 30 minutes of flight time and takes about 90 minutes to recharge. For safety, it includes forward and downward sensors with infrared support. The drone connects via WiFi 5 and GPS with GLONASS and uses the Vision+ 2 app for controls and settings. It comes with a standard PowerVision controller, microSD card support up to 128GB, and 6GB of built-in storage.
