Redmi Buds Essential Overview:
Design
The design of the Redmi Buds Essential is not unique and stands out only for its similarity to the AirDots lineup. The silicone tips provide you with an in-ear fit. In addition to that, the IPX4 rating means you don’t have to worry about sweat or rain damaging them. Furthermore, they’re lightweight, measuring only 4 g. With the addition of its partner and the case, the total weight you need to carry around becomes 35 g.
Sound
Joining the forces in the sound department in Redmi’s Buds Essential are the 7.2 mm dynamic drivers adjusted according to Xiaomi Acoustic Lab. Additionally, an AI algorithm is used here for clearer call quality and to remove background noise. For casual gamers out there, there is a dedicated gaming mode that reduces latency; you just need to press and hold both the left and right buttons for 1.5 seconds.
Battery
Lastly, the 43 mAh battery found in each of the Essential buds backs up the whole functionality above plus Bluetooth 5.2 for 5.5 hours at 50% volume. Combined with the 300 mAh battery inside the charging case, it can endure for around 18 hours. This case charges with a micro USB, which doesn’t appear to be in the box. So you have to buy it if you don’t already have it.
