The Classic version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 features two different sizes: 43mm and 47mm. The sizes are bigger than the normal variant, but the screen is the same. The same 1.31" and 1.47" sAMOLED panels in their respective sizes. This means the bezels are a little larger than the Watch 6.

Performance and Software

Excitingly, the Watch 6 Classic introduces its very new chipset, the Exynos W930. Built on the advanced 5nm process, similar to its predecessor, the W920, this cutting-edge chipset ensures enhanced performance and efficiency, by 18% to be exact. Furthermore, the Watch 6 offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

Health Tracking and Features

The base variant of the Watch 6 Classic boasts an array of typical health features that cater to various aspects of well-being. These features encompass heart rate monitoring 24/7, SpO2 measurement, women's health tracking, blood pressure measurement, and skin temperature measurement. Moreover, the watch primarily focuses on providing deeper insights into the user's sleep cycle, thanks to improved temperature sensors and heart rate monitors. Facilitating these health functionalities is the 3-in-1 BioActive Sensor, which covers Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart Signal, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. Additionally, the Watch 6 goes beyond the norm by offering safety and health-related functions, including fall detection, ECG measurement, and more. For fitness enthusiasts, the Watch 6 Classic caters to a similar range of activities, with over 90 workout modes available.

Battery

The size increase often corresponds to a size increase, but that's not the case here. In contrast to what one might expect, the 43mm watch maintains the same battery capacity as the 40mm variant, while the larger 47mm model also shares the same battery size as the 44mm version. Specifically, the smaller 40mm and 43mm watches feature a 300 mAh battery, while the larger 44mm and 47mm watches are equipped with a larger 425 mAh battery. It also supports fast charging—10 W charging, to be precise. With this, 8 minutes of charging results in 8 hours of battery life, according to Samsung.
