Design and Audio

These earbuds come in an in-ear fit with silicon tips with a stemmed design. It ships in multiple colour options, some of which are straight-up bizarre-looking. Thus, confirming the shade with the vendor before buying one would be a good idea. Moving on, they have a hollowed fin-like protrusion on the hearing unit of the buds. Moreover, the Skullcandy Indy Evo has a pretty high IP55 water resistance and sits inside a sleek squircle-shaped charging case. Skullcandy does not mention the driver size on the Indy Evo. However, it does mention the inclusion of “Ambient Mode” on these earbuds. This suggests that these buds offer some form of noise cancellation or reduction. Besides that, it comes with three preset EQ Modes: Music, Movie, and Podcast. On top of that, you can access more functionality through the Skullcandy app.

Features and the rest

The Indy Evo comes with fewer features than other Skullcandy offerings. Nonetheless, they do have some attractive ones. Starting with, the built-in Tile technology that helps you track down your earbuds if you ever misplace them. Additionally, they support the use of a single bud at a time for further convenience. Likewise, they also come with touch controls allowing you to answer calls, skip tracks, and adjust the volume with a series of simple touches. Similarly, these earbuds offer you access to the smartphone assistant allowing you to make voice commands. Given that, the Skullcandy Indy Evo is an older model it only comes with Bluetooth v5.0 for wireless connectivity. This thing can last you six hours independently while the case can power you for a full day.
