Sony WF-C700N Overview
Sound and Call Quality
The Sony WF-C700N comes with a 5mm driver paired with Sony's DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), which upscales compressed audio files for improved detail. Each earbud has one built-in microphone, with Wind Noise Reduction technology to keep calls clear even outdoors.
Connectivity and Durability
These earbuds use Bluetooth 5.2, with multipoint support for connecting to two devices at once. With an IPX4 water resistance rating, they can handle light rain and sweat. Each earbud features a large physical button (not a touch surface) supporting single-tap, double-tap, and hold gestures for managing calls, music, and noise cancellation modes.
Battery Life and Charging
The WF-C700N lasts up to 7.5 hours on a single charge with noise cancellation on, or up to 10 hours with it off. Sony rates total playtime including the case at up to 15 hours (ANC on), extending further with ANC off. Quick charging delivers up to 1 hour of playback from just a 10-minute charge, via USB-C.
