Vivo has quietly added a new member to its Y-series, the Y05. It comes with OriginOS 6 and a 6,500 mAh battery. In this article, we’ll explore the details of the Vivo Y05 4G, including its price and specs.

      Vivo Y05 Overview

      Design and Display

The Vivo Y05 boasts a typical Vivo budget language. As always, the rear side looks elegant; you get a vertical camera module. While the chin is slightly thicker up front, the display is a U-shaped notch, a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP65 rating, which makes it resistant to dust and water splashes.

      Performance and the rest

Under the hood, Vivo Y05 runs on the Unisoc T7225 (T612) chipset. This octa-core processor includes 2 high-performance Cortex-A75 cores at 1.6 GHz and 6 power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6 GHz. For graphics, it uses an Arm G57 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and offers storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable via a microSD card. And as for performance, it is fine for everyday tasks but not ideal for heavy gaming or multitasking. It runs on new OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

      Camera and Other Features

Talking of the optics, the Vivo Y05 has a single 8MP main camera, while the second unit is not a camera but an Infrared sensor. While the front camera is a 5MP selfie shooter. Lastly, you get a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It also offers 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS.
