Design

The Wings Phantom 250 is a unique design, as the company always tries to be different. The main uniqueness comes from the case. Describing the charging case, it is ovoid-ish in shape. The two "headlights" at the front have two accent colors based on the color variation you choose—Green in Black and Green in Blue. On the buds too, you can see the subtle accent on the top of the stem with the Wings logo just below it. As for comfort, the Phantom 250 features an in-ear design. In addition to that, the buds are a bit safer from water splashes and such, thanks to the IPX5 rating. And the product altogether weighs approximately 43g, which is considered lightweight.

Audio

On the audio side of things, the Phantom 250 covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, all possible due to what they call "premium" graphene drivers. These drivers, one on each earpiece, are 13mm in size and have an impedance of 32 ohms. As the buds are focused on gaming, Wings promises clear footsteps and headshot sounds. Similarly, this Wings Phantom 250 offers a dedicated gaming mode with a latency of up to 40 ms. To activate it, it is easy—you just have to long-press the right earbud for 5 seconds. Additionally, two microphones on each bud mean the voice is clear to the receiver, especially with the built-in ENC.

Rest of the specs

While the buds alone last 8 hours on a single charge, the charging case adds more life to the Phantom 250. To be exact, the case extends its battery life by 24 hours, making its total playtime 32 hours. Furthermore, the earpieces charge within an hour. Plus, the case itself charges in 1.5 hours using a USB-C cable. Besides, the Phantom 250 ships with Bluetooth 5.2.
