      Realme Neo8 Overview

      Display and Design

      undefined

The Realme Neo8 features a 6.78-inch Samsung Sky Screen, which is a custom AMOLED panel. It supports a native 165Hz refresh rate and reaches a local peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The screen is protected by Crystal Armor Glass and includes an ultrasonic 3D in-display fingerprint sensor. On the back, there is a transparent RGB panel with customizable lighting effects and a metal frame. The Neo8 is built to last with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

      Performance and Gaming

Inside, the phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The chipset is just behind last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. And is already found in some major semi-flagship phones like the OnePlus 15r. For cooling, Realme used a high-airflow system and their GT Performance Engine that apparently keep frame rates steady. It also includes a PC Handheld Mode and supports 165Hz gameplay for over 30 popular titles.

      Camera and Battery

The camera setup is led by a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS. There is also a 50MP periscope telephoto lens that allows for 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. On the other hand, you get this massive 8,000mAh battery. This supports various charging standards, including PD and QC, as well as bypass charging.

      Durability and Connectivity

It runs on realme UI 7.0 and includes the Sky Communication System as well. Other features include an infrared remote, NFC, stereo speakers, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics.
