Acer Aspire Series Overview

The Aspire series consists of value-focused laptops from Acer. These are mainstream laptops for homes, offices, and schools. These are not always fancy-looking but deliver a good balance between performance and price.In the past, Acer had a number of sub-series under the Aspire series. This included the E-series, S-series, R series, V-series, and others. However, the company has discontinued most of them in favor of its number series.

Acer Aspire 1 Series

The Aspire 1 series is the most basic laptop under the Aspire lineup. The most common Aspire 1 model comes with a 15.6" FHD panel, dual-core Intel Celeron processors, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of flash memory. The Aspire 1 Qualcomm comes with ARM-based Snapdragon chips. Another characteristic feature of this laptop is the 4G LTE connectivity. Acer advertises it as a pick-up-and-go device. As of 2023, Acer has already discontinued the Aspire 1 lineup.

Acer Aspire 3 Series

Aspire 3 laptops offer better specs than Aspire 1. You can configure this laptop from dual-core to the latest quad-core offering from both AMD and Intel. The screen size can get as high as 17.3 inches. You also get the ergonomic hinge that lifts the laptop at an inclination for additional airflow.The 2023 edition of the Aspire 3 comes with the 13th Gen Core i3-N305 processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen 3 SSD. You also get a metal chassis and the option to choose from three screen sizes.

Acer Aspire 5 Series

Aspire 5 is probably the most popular laptop of the bunch. It comes with the latest mobile U-processors from Intel and AMD. You also get the option to add entry-level discrete graphics and a fingerprint scanner. The latest models sport colourful aluminium covers, dual-drive storage, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Acer Aspire 7 series

Aspire 7 is the most advanced laptop in the lineup. Thus, you can expect better quality and thermals. Unlike the colorful variations of Aspire 5, you are most likely to get Aspire 7 in black only. Another major difference between the two is the GPU. Aspire 7 can be configured with up to GTX and RTX series dedicated graphics.
