Aiwa Monitor Price in Nepal – Overview

      Who Is Aiwa?

Aiwa is a name that older electronics buyers might actually recognize. It was a Japanese audio brand with a decent reputation through the 80s and 90s before it got absorbed and eventually shelved. The brand has since been revived by a Chinese OEM and slapped the branding on new products, and started selling into markets like Nepal. So don't let the Japanese heritage create expectations that the product doesn't actually carry. What you're getting is a competitively priced Chinese-made monitor with a familiar name on it.

Aiwa Monitor Price Range in Nepal

Aiwa, as of now, is only selling budget monitors in Nepal. There are two models, both under twenty thousand rupees. The home monitor costs around sixteen and a half thousand, and the gaming variant is just under twenty thousand.

Available Aiwa Monitor Series in Nepal

There are no multiple series available in Nepal. Rather, there are just two 24-inch FHD IPS panels, one is useful for home use, and one for soft gaming. The specs are also nearly identical, so the difference between them is more specific than it first appears.

      Aiwa Home Monitor

The home monitor is the more affordable of the two. It is a 24-inch FHD IPS at 100Hz with 250 nits brightness, but with a tilt-only stand. However, it's also brighter than the gaming variant. Similarly, Aiwa has also provided an HDMI and VGA Connectivity option, which makes it compatible with older PCs that don't have DisplayPort. For document work and web browsing, the Aiwa home monitor can be a good option.

      Aiwa Gaming Monitor

The gaming variant costs around three and a half thousand rupees more and brings a few differences alongside. Here, the response time drops to 1ms, adaptive sync is included for both FreeSync and G-Sync compatible setups, and a DisplayPort is added alongside HDMI. Similarly, the color gamut also ticks up to 95% sRGB from the home model's 85% NTSC. The tradeoff is that brightness drops to 220 nits, which is lower than the home model, and in a bright environment, it will start feeling less comfortable. At 100Hz, it's nowhere near competitive gaming territory, but for casual usage on a tight budget, this is a better option than the home variant..
