Founded in 2018, Realme started out as a sub-brand of OPPO eventually venturing off as its own brand. It is a Chinese consumer electronics brand with the “dare to leap” primarily focused on smartphones, and complementary devices. Besides smartphones and tablets, Realme also sells earbuds, power banks, smart TVs, smartwatches, and other IoT devices.
Realme smartphones are extremely popular in Nepal. But they have yet not launched their tablets in the Nepalese market.
The latest in the Pad series is Realme's Pad 2. With an 11.5 inch 120 Hz LCD screen, stereo speakers, and an 8300mAh battery, Pad 2 is an ideal machine for watching movies or playing games. The Helio G99 processor inside is plenty capable for your day-to-day needs. As such, Realme Pad is a series of budget-midrange Android tablets meant for content consumption and multimedia.
Pad mini is even more affordable than the regular Realme Pad but as the name suggests, it has a smaller screen and form factor. The processor on the Pad mini is nothing to write home about but it should fare just fine for everyday browsing and media consumption. You might not get the longest battery life or the fastest charging speeds, but for its price, the Realme Pad mini has a lot of things going for it.
Among all its tablets, the Pad X Series is definitely Realme's most premium offering. With an iPad Air-esque flat frame design, the Pad X feels modern. Among the upgrades, you'll find better performance, faster charging, and more. But they are not too expensive relative to the vanilla Pads, so they might be a worthwhile investment.
