Appliance are the devices that are used in your home for various purposes. The word "appliances" could be used interchangably with device or gadget, it has been established to refer to tech used in homes and kitchens. Given that, things like washing machines, hoovers, air fryers, dish washers, irons, fans, aircon, and even lights fall under appliances.
