Apart from the Pro variant, OPPO has also launched the Reno4. As expected, it comes with an inferior specs and carries a cheaper price tag. Both these phones offer a new design and have 5G support out of the box. Lets learn more about the new OPPO Reno4 along with its features, price, and availability in Nepal.
OPPO Reno4 Overview
Design and Display
The Oppo Reno4 features a 6.4-inch screen, which is slightly smaller than the one on the Pro variant. The vanilla model has a slightly inferior 2.5D hyperboloid display, as compared to the 3D display on the Reno4 Pro. The Reno 4 is TUV Rheinland certified for lesser blue rays emission. While it doesn’t support a 90 Hz refresh rate, it enjoys a dual-camera setup on the front.
On the back, Reno4 has a gorgeous back panel worth checking out. Oppo has implemented a new design named as Reno Glow design. It boasts an optimized etching process which makes the back of the device smooth and shiny, yet is a fingerprint-resistant. OPPO claims they have figured out a way to alter the microstructure of AG glass to consolidate flash drills, making the rear panel more wear-resistant. The camera module is on the top left side. The camera protrudes a bit, making it vulnerable from scratches.

Like the Reno4 Pro, the Reno4 is also powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC. along with a liquid-cooled heat dissipation system for better thermals. The 8GB of RAM on the device is paired with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage.
Likewise, for connectivity, it supports dual-band 5G connectivity (Sub 6Ghz – SA and NSA). You can also connect your Wi-Fi and 5G connection simultaneously for better speed as the company claims to boost the speed by 30%. It could come in handy while playing online games that demand low latency.
Reno4 has a 48MP triple camera setup on the back. The primary 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor comes with OIS and Super Anti-Shake 3.0 for better video stability. It is joined by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP Monochrome lens. In comparison, the Pro variant has a 13MP telephoto lens and a better wide-angle lens.
On the front, it has a dual-camera setup unlike the Pro version with a 32MP primary lens, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. It would have been great if Oppo opted for the ultra-wide selfie snapper instead of a gimmicky depth sensor.
