7Hz x Crinacle Zero 2 Overview
Design and Build
The 7Hz x Crinacle Zero 2 features a compact and ergonomic in-ear design with a translucent shell and a brushed silver aluminum faceplate. Its lightweight housing is shaped to sit comfortably in the ear, while the in-ear construction and silicone eartips provide a secure fit and help reduce some outside noise through passive noise isolation.
Moving on to the build, the Zero 2 uses a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable, allowing users to replace or upgrade the cable when needed. It comes with a silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) cable in a coaxial design, while the detachable connection also makes the IEM easier to maintain and gives users more flexibility with compatible cables.
Audio
In terms of audio, the 7Hz x Crinacle Zero: 2 features an upgraded 10mm dual-cavity dynamic driver with a PU + metal composite diaphragm, tuned in collaboration with Crinacle. Compared to the original Zero, it delivers a stronger low-frequency response with a 3dB bass boost, producing punchier bass while maintaining clear and balanced mids. It has a 10Hz–20kHz frequency response, 32Ω impedance, and 108dB/V sensitivity, making it easy to drive with smartphones, laptops, and other everyday audio devices.
Connectivity and Controls
On the connectivity side, the 7Hz x Crinacle Zero: 2 is available in both 3.5mm and Type-C variants, allowing users to choose the connection that best suits their device. The 3.5mm version works with smartphones, laptops, PCs, music players, and other devices with a compatible headphone jack, while the Type-C version is designed for newer devices with a USB-C port. As a wired IEM, neither version requires Bluetooth pairing or battery charging.
For controls, the Type-C with-mic variant comes with an inline microphone and controls, allowing users to handle calls and voice input while using the earphones. The built-in microphone also makes this version suitable for voice calls, online meetings, gaming, and other everyday communication.
