Performance and Cooling

The new Predator Triton 16 (2023) comes with the latest 12th gen Intel “Raptor Lake” gaming processors. More specifically, Acer lets you choose between Core i7-13700H and Core i9-13900H. The GPU option is even more streamlined as the Predator Triton 16 (2023) is only available with the NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU, which brings all the added features of Ada Lovelace, like improved ray tracing and DLSS 3.  Acer Predator Triton 16 features two memory slots that you can configure with 32GB of DDR5-5200 RAM. Likewise, it can have up to 2TB of PCIe M.2 SSD in RAID 0 configuration. Keeping the laptop cool is dual 5th gen Aeroblade fans with 89 blades and Vortex Flow with thermal foam. Moreover, Acer has used liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU. 

Design and Display

As the name suggests, the Predator Triton 16 (2023) comes with a 16-inch IPS display with WQXGA resolution. The screen refreshes at 240Hz and brings support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-Sync. It covers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and can get as bright as 500 nits. The narrow bezels and tall 16:10 aspect ratio give the display a streamlined look.  It is housed inside a sleek metal chassis measuring 20mm in thickness. It is available in a single silver color with sparkling fish on top. The keyboard has a per-key RGB backlight and a dedicated key for Predator Sense. The app lets you control fan speed, lighting and other aspects of the Predator Triton 16 (2023).

Acer Predator Triton 16 (2023) is fueled by a 99.98Wh battery. It features two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports that you can choose for charging. In addition, the laptop has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, an HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card slot.
