Amazfit Active is a midrange smartwatch with a squircle body with a single button on the side. It is available in three colour options: Midnight Black, Petal Pink, and Lavender Purple. It comes with a combination of aluminium alloy and plastic as the material of choice for the former two options. On the other hand, the Lavender Purple variant gets special treatment with stainless steel and plastic. A 1.75-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 390x450 and a pixel density of 341 PPI greets us on the front. It features tempered glass for added screen protection. While an anti-fingerprint coating layers the glass to counteract smudges. On top of it, the Amazfit Active also boasts 5 ATM water resistance.

Health and Sports Features

The Amazfit Active is assisted by plenty of sensors to measure and track your health and fitness. These sensors include the likes of a BioTracker PPG biometric sensor, an acceleration sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and a temperature sensor. It also offers 127 sports modes altogether, which include outdoor as well as indoor sports. Health features cover 24-hour monitoring of vital health metrics, sleep monitoring, menstrual tracking, and more. Additionally, lifestyle features encompass voice assistants, Bluetooth calling, weather updates, and sedentary reminders, among other things.

Zepp Coach

The Amazfit Active also comes with the Zepp Coach feature that is powered by AI. This personalised coach tailors running schedules and plans according to the user's specific objectives, continuously adapting weekly based on the individual's progress.

Battery Life and Others

This smartwatch draws its power from a 300 mAh cell that should last you up to 14 days on typical usage. You can fully charge the device in a mere two hours with the magnetic charging base that ships in the box. The battery life varies with different usage scenarios ranging from as low as 16 hours (continuous GPS usage) to 30 days (battery saver mode). The watch offers BT calling over Bluetooth 5.2 BLE, and five-way navigation support. This Amazfit offering is compatible with devices running on Android 7.0 or iOS 14.0 and above. It also allows for further customisation and control via. Zepp App. Lastly, the Amazfit Active offers camera control for iOS users only, while Andriod users exclusively get to enjoy the Notification Quick Reply feature.
