Performance and processing

For the performance, the Asus ROG Strix SCAR G18 comes with a new Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and 24 threads. In addition, it includes Intel’s AI Boost NPU capable of up to 13 TOPS.

For Graphics, it comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU paired with 12GB GDDR7 memory (115W + 25W Dynamic Boost). Furthermore, it features an 18-inch ROG Nebula HDR Display with a 2.5K Mini LED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. For content creators, it has 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and even its Pantone-validated.

Memory and storage

The laptop is equipped with 16GB DDR5 RAM (5600MHz), expandable up to 64GB. Additionally, it includes 1TB of storage and extends up to 4TB via dual PCIe 4.0 SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration.

Keyboard, camera, and audio

It offers a per-key RGB backlit keyboard and a touchpad with NumberPad support. In addition, the device includes a 1080p IR camera supporting Windows Hello and a 4-speaker system with Dolby Atmos and AI noise-canceling support.

Connectivity and ports

The device comes with two Thunderbolt 5 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a LAN port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Battery and build

It features a 90Wh battery and comes with a 380W power adapter, along with an additional 100W USB-C adapter. The laptop weighs 3.30kg.
