Design

The boAt Airdopes Flex 454 ANC (a pretty long name to say) are in-ear earbuds with a shorter stem. The design is nothing extraordinary or anything. On the color side of things, you get only two typical choices: Gunmetal Black and Zinc White.

On the flip side, Flex 454 ANC has a case with a glossy lid and a matte body. The case itself doesn’t have any IP rating, but the buds inside are IPX5-rated.

Audio

For audio, the Airdopes Flex 454 with ANC obviously comes with active noise cancellation. According to boAt, they are releasing “Flagship-Level” ANC on these budget wireless earphones, which can cancel up to 32 dB of loudness.

Getting back to actual audio quality itself, the Flex 454 has 10mm drivers. These earbuds ship with adaptive EQ powered by Mimi, which takes different factors into consideration to tune audio according to your ear’s sensitivity.

Features

The Airdopes Flex 454 ANC delivers with “Beast Mode” decreasing latency to 60ms. This also features “boAt SmartTalk”, allowing you to “Accept” or “Reject” a call using voice prompts. Plus, this supports in-ear detection and multipoint connectivity. Customizing via the boAt Hearables App is another one of those features you won’t easily get at the price range.

Battery

Moving on to the batteries, the endurance mentioned in Airdopes Flex 454 ANC is quite promising. In total, the buds and the case combined can last you around 60 hours of playback. Even with the ANC turned on, 45 hours of playtime sounds interesting. And thanks to ASAP charging, 4 hours’ worth of playback is recharged within just 10 minutes of plugging it in.
