      CMF Phone 1 is the first-ever smartphone from the company and comes with a replaceable back panel that you can also accessorise. On the front, you are looking at a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it packs the MediaTek Dimenisty 7300 processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB. Additionally, you can virtually double the memory and expand the storage by up to 2TB. In terms of software, it boots on Nothing OS 2.6 and is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 33W wired charging and can reverse at the speed of 5W through a wire. Talking of cameras, it comes with a 50MP Sony primary unit, a portrait sensor, and a 16MP front shooter.

      CMF Phone 1 is a stylish phone that hits a sweet spot of nostalgia. Its main design highlight is its replaceable back panel, which was the norm back in the day. The phone has screws placed across its back, that you can undo, swap panels, and accessories with stands, lanyard dials, etc. Colourwise, it comes in Black, Orange, and Light Green. Here the Orange has a synthetic leather finish, while the other two are made of polycarbonate. On the front, this phone dons a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. The screen also has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The screen on the CMF Phone 1 is an LTPS unit, meaning it does not support a dynamic refresh rate. Other than that, it offers 960Hz PWM dimming so that it does not strain your eyes during extended screentime.

      Performance and the rest

      In terms of performance, the CMF Phone 1 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It is an eight-core silicon with 4nm fabrication and a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz. Additionally, it has 8 gigs of memory coupled with either 128GB or 256GB storage. This phone is capable of virtual memory and external storage expansion of up to 8GB and 2TB, respectively. Software-wise, it boots on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 and packs a 5,000 mAh battery for power.

      The optics department on this phone is led by a 50MP Sony camera. It is coupled with a portrait sensor, helping out with background blurring.
