CMF phones have gained a lot of popularity under the Nothing brand. The company officially launched its newest model, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, in India. It’s also available for pre-booking in Nepal.

CMF Phone 2 Pro Overview

Design and Display

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the thinnest phone CMF has ever made, with a slim 7.8 mm body and a lightweight feel at just 185 grams. It features CMF’s signature stainless steel screws on the back. The design looks very similar to the CMF Phone 1 and comes in four colors: White, Black, Orange, and Light Green.

On the front, there’s a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED screen that can show over 1.07 billion colors, making videos and images look more realistic. The screen is also very bright, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits — that’s 50% brighter than the previous model.

It also has a 1000 Hz touch sampling rate for faster touch response and a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The phone is IP54 rated, meaning it’s somewhat resistant to dust and water. It also has an under-display fingerprint scanner and has passed a drop test from 1.5 meters at 10 angles, showing it’s quite durable.

Performance and the rest

Inside, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chip. It has an 8-core CPU that can go up to 2.5GHz, making it 10% faster than the CMF Phone 1. The graphics performance is also 5% better, which should help with gaming and everyday use.

You get up to 8GB of RAM, plus a RAM booster for smoother performance. Storage options are 128GB and 256GB, and you can even expand it up to 2TB with a memory card — a rare feature in this price range. It runs on Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15, with 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.

The phone has a big 5000 mAh battery that can last up to two days on a single charge — that’s about 47 hours of calls, 22 hours of YouTube, or 10 hours of BGMI gaming. The battery also stays healthy longer, keeping over 90% capacity after 1200 charges. With 33W fast charging, you can power it up for a full day in just 20 minutes. It also supports 5W reverse charging to power other devices.

Camera and More

For cameras, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to have a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. It supports 4K video at 30fps, which is great for creators or video calls. There’s also a feature called TrueLens Engine 3.0 that improves light and shadow effects by 89%, making photos look more polished.

In terms of connectivity, the phone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast, stable connections. For audio, it has two HD microphones and a 150% ultra-volume speaker, which should make calls and media sound louder and clearer.
