Dell Alienware 15 DA15260 Overview
Design and Display
Starting with the design, the Alienware 15 comes with a sleek Nova Black finish and a 180-degree hinge. It also features Dell’s Cryo-Tech cooling system to help manage heat during gaming. Despite its gaming-focused design, it weighs just around 2.25kg.
In terms of display, we get a decent 15.3-inch WUXGA IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. This panel also supports a fast refresh rate of 165Hz, which is great for fast-paced gaming. Talking about its color accuracy, the display only supports 62.5% sRGB color coverage, which is decent for watching content, but don't expect it to be suitable for tasks like color grading.
Performance
For performance, we get an Intel Core 7 240H CPU, which comes with 10 cores and 16 threads with a max turbo boost of 5.2 GHz. For the GPU, we have last year's RTX 4050 GPU, which comes with 6 GB of VRAM, decent for 1080p medium-to-high gaming.
Furthermore, it features 16GB DDR5 RAM clocking in at 5600 MT/s. Similarly, it also has 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
Connectivity and the rest
The Dell Alienware 15 comes with decent options of ports, including 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 1x HDMI 2.1, and finally a 1x 3.5 mm headphone jack and 1x RJ45 port. In terms of wireless connectivity, we are getting WiFi 6 as well as Bluetooth 5.2 support.
