Design and Display

Okay, talking about the display, the Acer Nitro V 16 AI (2025) comes with a beautiful 16-inch IPS LCD display. It comes with a WUXGA (1920 x 1200p) resolution and has a fast 180Hz refresh rate. This display also covers 100% sRGB color gamut and has 300 nits of brightness. We also get a 16:10 aspect-ratio display.

Performance and Battery

As I said in the beginning, the Nitro V 16 AI is powered by AMD Ryzen 200 and 300 Series processors. The first one comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 350, which has eight cores and sixteen threads, along with 16MB of cache. This processor also has a built-in NPU that delivers up to 66 TOPS of AI performance. Next, we have the AMD Ryzen 7 260, which also comes with eight cores and sixteen threads, along with 16MB of cache. It features an NPU capable of up to 38 TOPS of AI performance.

Finally, there’s the AMD Ryzen 5 240 with six cores and twelve threads, along with 16MB of cache and up to 31 TOPS of AI performance. All three CPUs are capable of handling mid- to high-level gaming.

Alongside the processor, the Nitro V 16 AI comes with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, depending on the configuration. Both are based on the Blackwell architecture and feature 5th Gen Tensor Cores with support for DLSS 4. The RTX 5060 offers a step up in performance, making it better suited for more demanding games and creative workloads, while the RTX 5050 still provides solid gaming performance at 1080p. Additionally, running on Windows 11 Home, the laptop uses Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, which uses AI and a third microphone to cancel background noise. So, it’s not only built for gaming but also handles calls, streams, and content creation with fewer distractions.

For network connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 6E for fast wireless speeds and Bluetooth 5.3. For ports, we get 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), 1x HDMI, and 1x 3.5 mm headphone jack.
