GK KUNTEN Overview

Design and Build

The GK KUNTEN features an open-back design with a metal faceplate, giving it a spacious sound while keeping the IEMs light and comfortable. It comes with a silver-plated cable and a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin connector. With the right ear tips, it also provides around 26dB of passive noise isolation, making it suitable for both everyday listening and gaming.

Audio

For sound, the KUNTEN uses a 10mm Super-Linear dynamic driver. GK has focused on a larger voice coil and a smaller magnetic gap to deliver a faster and more controlled response. The IEM follows a Harman-style tuning and is rated for a 20Hz–40kHz frequency response, 43Ω impedance, and around 109dB sensitivity.

In everyday listening, the KUNTEN delivers a punchy low end without making the bass feel too overwhelming. The mids sound natural, while the treble has a decent amount of air and detail. Overall, it sounds more refined and balanced than many entry-level single-driver IEMs, while still having enough bass to make music and gaming enjoyable.

Connectivity and Controls

The KUNTEN is available in both 3.5mm and USB Type-C versions, giving you the option to pick the one that works best with your device. You can also choose between versions with or without a microphone. Since it is a fully wired IEM, there is no Bluetooth pairing or charging to deal with.
