Design and Display
The name “Google “Pixel 9 Pro” might have you believe that it is a successor to the Google Pixel 8 Pro. It sort of is, but not truly. It is definitely a step up from the base model. The has a similar design to its lower model with flat edges and a longer pill-shaped camera island. The phone comes with aluminium from its body and frame while the front and back are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is available in Porcelain, Rose Quartz, Hazel, and Obsidian colour options.
On the front, it has a 6.3-inch Super Actua display (LTPO OLED). It stretches FHD+ in resolution with 1,280 x 2,856 pixels at 495 PPI pixel density. It is also capable of a 1 to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Besides that, the Google Pixel 9 Pro can reach a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Performance and Cameras
Inside, the Google Pixel 9 Pro has the in-house Tensor G4 processor and Titan M2 security coprocessor. The primary silicon comes with 4nm fabrication, eight cores, and a peak clock speed of 3.1 GHz. You get the phone in a single 16GB memory option. Meanwhile, you can choose between 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB for storage. In the tank, it packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 45W wired and up to 21W wireless charging support.
The cameras are one of the key highlights of a Pixel phone. The Google Pixel 9 Pro comes with a 50MP primary, 48MP ultrawide / macro, and 48MP telephoto lens on the back. In the meantime, it gets a 42MP shooter on the front. Furthermore, this phone continues to enjoy AI-assisted image editing features. AI is an integral part of the general functionalities of the phone as well. Lastly, it boots on Android 14 out of the box, which is an older version of the OS as Android 15 is already out. However, that should not be an issue as Google promises seven years of software updates with the phone.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Price
Google Pixel phones are not available through official mediums in Nepal. However, you may find it through grey channels, limiting the official and legal assurance. Regardless, Google Pixel phones are a great pick as your daily driver.
