Design and Build

In terms of design, the Honor Choice Earbuds X5 goes for an in-ear style with a plastic build and long stem look. The charging case is rectangular in shape and boasts a charge indicator. Likewise, you get an IP54 rating for dust and splash protection. Honor ships this earbud in one color option: White.

Audio and Others

Firing the audio here is a 10mm driver for a balanced and clear audio quality as claimed by Honor. It supports both AAC and SBC audio codecs. As for the modes, you get normal, noise canceling and Awareness Gain modes (transparency) to switch conveniently as per the listening environment. Plus, it can cancel up to 30dB of Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) to keep the background noise at bay. Besides that, the dual-mic ENC is there for less disturbance for phone and video calls. Honor has not disclosed the battery size of both the earbuds while the charging case gets its juice from a 500mAh cell. And the Choice Earbuds X5 is stated to last for up to 9 hours and up to 35 hours with the charging case. Connectivity relies on Bluetooth 5.3 and the Honor AI Space companion app.
