Display and Design
Honor X5b Plus is actually a similar version of the vanilla Honor X5b. So, it sports the same 6.56-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 90Hz refresh rate You get uniform bezels throughout with a raindrop notch, which is kinda acceptable for a budget phone. Besides that, the X5b Plus sports a glass front with a plastic back and midframe. The back features a rectangular cutout for the camera and LED flash.
Processor and Memory
Under the hood, Honor X5b Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset which is a 12nm fabbed processor. You get 4 Cortex A53 Cores at 2.2 GHz and the other 4 Cortex A53 Cores at 1.6 GHz. As for memory, you get 4GB RAM alongside 128GB of storage as it's a Plus version. Likewise, you also get a micro SD slot to expand your storage up to 1 TB.
Cameras and Battery
In terms of optics, the Honor X5b Plus has a single 50MP camera on its back with an aperture of f/1.8 aperture. Which is an upgrade over Honor X5b's 13MP shooter. Alongside that, there is also an LED flash to help with capturing low-light images. On the front, there's a 5 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. It can record up to 1080p videos at 30 fps. You get a massive 5200 mAh Lithium Polymer battery that can be charged via a 10W charger bundled in the box.
