The Huawei Band 8 doesn’t look all that different from the Band 7. The edge has been flattened completely, but other than that, a similar polymer material is used as the case. I have to admit that Huawei has provided some viable choices for the strap. There is a TPU version, two colors with silicon, and a nylon one.

The Band 8 inherits Huawei’s sleep monitoring, releasing the newest TruSleep 3.0. Other than that, the band has also received an upgrade to its heart rate algorithm with HUAWEI TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring technology, supporting a 7-day resting heart rate feature.

Additionally, this fitness tracker boasts features such as blood oxygen monitoring, women’s health management, over 100 sports modes, and stress tracking.

Moving on, the smart wearable features 14 days’ worth of battery life on a single charge at max when on a lighter usage pattern. However, with typical usage, the life might decrease to 9 days. And with the AOD and all the automatic tracking enabled, it drops to 3 hours. Plus, 5W fast charging is all you need to get it to full within 45 minutes.
