JBL Endurance Peak 4 Overview
Build and Design
The JBL Endurance Peak 4 maintains the iconic TwistLock design, that makes sure the earbuds stay securely in place during the most vigorous movements. The liquid silicone ear hooks are integrated with memory wire, and this allows them to adapt to different ear shapes for a personalized, "never-fall-out" fit. One of the biggest upgrades is the IP68 rating. Whereas the charging case itself carries an IPX2 rating.Â
Audio and Performance
Under the hood, the earbuds are powered by 10mm dynamic drivers delivering JBL Pure Bass Sound. For the first time in this series, JBL has introduced Spatial Sound. The audio is further enhanced by Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC), which uses four sensing microphones. Other than that, you get features like the Smart Ambient and Ambient Aware modes.Â
Connectivity and Battery
The Endurance Peak 4 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 and support for Multi-Point Connection. Call quality has also been significantly upgraded with a 6-microphone system (3 on each bud) and a windproof design. Additionally, the earbuds support Google Fast Pair and Google Finder as well.Â
The battery life on the Endurance Peak 4 is class-leading. It offers a total of 48 hours of playback (with ANC off). On a single charge, the earbuds provide up to 12 hours of continuous music, with the case holding three additional full charges. Even with ANC enabled, you get a solid 8 hours of use.Â
