Design and Build

The Kefine Klean SV features an ergonomic in-ear design with a metal-injection-molded housing, giving it a solid and durable build while keeping the earphones relatively lightweight. Each earpiece weighs around 10g, and the shell is shaped to sit securely in the ear for extended listening sessions. The housing also uses a screw-secured construction rather than being permanently glued together, making the design easier to service if required.

The Klean SV uses a dual-cavity acoustic structure around the driver. This separates the front and rear chambers to help control internal resonance and reflections, with the aim of providing a cleaner and more controlled sound presentation. It also comes with multiple sizes of silicone ear tips and a hard carrying case for storage and portability.

Audio

The Klean SV is powered by a single 10mm dynamic driver with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) diaphragm. The DLC diaphragm is designed to provide a rigid and lightweight driver surface, helping the IEM deliver a clear and detailed sound across the frequency range.

One of the main features of the Klean SV is its three interchangeable tuning nozzles. Each nozzle changes the acoustic tuning of the earphone, allowing users to adjust the balance between bass, mids, and treble according to their preference. This gives the Klean SV three different sound presentations without requiring software-based EQ.

The IEM has a rated frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, along with an impedance of 32Ω ±15% and sensitivity of 107dB ±3dB. The dual-cavity structure works alongside the 10mm driver to help maintain separation and control across the frequency range.

Cable and Controls

The Klean SV comes with a 1.2m high-purity silver-plated copper cable connected through a detachable 0.78mm 2-pin interface. This allows users to replace or upgrade the cable with another compatible option if required.

The IEM is available with either a 3.5mm single-ended connector or a USB Type-C connector. The Type-C version includes an in-line microphone for calls, while the 3.5mm version is available without a microphone. This gives users the option to choose the connection that best suits their devices and usage.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The Klean SV supports both 3.5mm and USB Type-C connections, depending on the selected version. The 3.5mm model can be used with smartphones, laptops, PCs, DACs, music players, and other devices with a standard headphone output. The Type-C version can connect directly to compatible smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other USB Type-C devices without requiring a separate 3.5mm adapter.

As a wired IEM, the Klean SV does not require Bluetooth pairing or a built-in battery. Its detachable cable also provides flexibility for users who want to replace the cable or change their setup later.
