Design and Build

The KZ ZS10 Pro 2 features a classic in-ear design with a lightweight metal cover and skin-friendly resin cavity. Inside, the IEM houses a 10mm internal magnetic dynamic driver alongside dual 31736 balanced armature drivers. It also uses a detachable 0.75mm 2-pin connection, allowing users to replace or upgrade the cable when needed. Foam ear tips are included for a more secure and comfortable fit.

Audio

The KZ ZS10 Pro 2 uses a hybrid driver configuration combining a 10mm internal magnetic dynamic driver with dual 31736 balanced armature drivers. The dynamic driver handles the low-to-mid frequencies, while the balanced armature drivers focus on the high and ultra-high frequencies. KZ also uses a three-way electronic crossover to better separate and integrate the different frequency ranges.

The IEM features a built-in four-level tuning switch that lets users adjust the sound signature. Switches 1, 1+2, or 1+2+3 progressively increase the low-frequency output, while switch 4 reduces the high-frequency output. This gives users several tuning combinations depending on their preferences. The ZS10 Pro 2 has a frequency response of 20Hz to 40kHz, with an impedance of 25–28Ω and sensitivity of 108±3dB.

Cable and Controls

The included 120cm silver-plated cable uses a detachable 0.75mm 2-pin connection and can be replaced with another compatible cable. KZ offers the ZS10 Pro 2 in both standard and microphone variants. The microphone version features an in-line control with support for play/pause, answering and ending calls, skipping tracks, and declining calls through different button presses.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The KZ ZS10 Pro 2 uses a standard 3.5mm audio connector, making it compatible with smartphones, laptops, PCs, music players, DACs, and other devices with a headphone jack. As a wired IEM, it does not require Bluetooth pairing or charging, offering a simple plug-and-play listening experience.
