Here’s a brief description of the design aesthetic, processor, and battery life of the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro 2022 (Ryzen 7) laptop.

Build and Display

The Ideapad 5 Pro 2022 offers an aluminum body of 16.9mm thickness and a weight of around 1.95 kg. The matte screen has a 16″ diagonal length and boasts 350 nits of brightness. There are dual stereo up-firing speakers, a backlit keyboard, and a fingerprint reader for security in the keyboard deck.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, Lenovo Ideapad 5 has a Ryzen 7 6800HS processor.  Being an ‘HS’ processor, you can expect better performance than U series laptops, but not enough to compete with the high-end ‘H’ series gaming chips. It comes with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, which, unfortunately, is non-upgradable. For storage, you get 1TB of M.2 SSD.

Battery and Connectivity 

The Ideapad 5 2022 (AMD) is fueled by a 75Wh battery pack. It can play local 1080p video for up to 13.1 hours and lasts 9.45 hours in MobileMark 2018. The Ideapad ships with a 135Wh power adapter, adding up to 2 hours of usage on a quick 15-minute charge, thanks to Rapid Charge Boost.

As for wired connections, you get two USB TYPE-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one HDMI, one SD card reader, and a combined audio jack.
