Design and Build 

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 offers a premium all-metal build with an aluminum top and bottom. The 16-inch display is an IPS LCD panel of WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1080) resolution. The screen has an anti-glare finish and can reach a maximum brightness of 300 nits. It's easy to carry around at around 1.9 kilograms. IdeaPad Slim 5 is 356mm in width, 251mm deep, and has a height of 17mm.

Performance and Memory 

IdeaPad Slim 5 is powered by AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processor. The Ryzen 5 7530U is an efficient mobile processor with 6 Cores and 12 Threads. Common everyday tasks like web browsing and office work should be a breeze for the processor. It has a maximum clock speed of 4.5 GHz as well as 16MB of L3 cache. As for memory, you get 16GB of non-upgradable DDR4 RAM. Alongside that, you get a 1TB M.2 2242 NVMe SSD, which also cannot be expanded any further.

Battery and Connectivity 

In the tank of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 is a 75.4 Wh Li-Po battery that lasts up to 19.5 hours of local 1080p video playback at 150 nits of brightness.
