Lenovo has again pushed the envelope for entry-level laptops with the newest V series laptop. Here, we will take a closer look at the 15" variation, Lenovo V15 Gen 3 ABA with the Ryzen 5 5625U processor.

Design and Display

The Lenovo V15 Gen 3 arrives with a 15.6-inch display. At 1.7kg, it is heavier than its 14-inch sibling. That said, the thickness is the same at 19.9mm. You'll love how effortlessly it slips into your bag or backpack. The base variant comes with a TN panel, whereas you can also opt for an IPS variant which brings a higher brightness levels and a broader viewing angle.

Performance / Memory

Regarding performance, the 2022 V15 comes with three Ryzen 5000-series Balero refresh CPUs: Ryzen 5425U, 5625U, and 5825U CPUs. None of the models contain a separate graphics card, so you will have to be content with the integrated ones.

There are two memory slots inside, one of which has a soldered 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM module. To access dual-channel memory on the other, insert an 8GB stick. In terms of storage, there is a 512GB SSD and an empty HDD drive for expansion.

Lenovo opted to present a variety of options even in the battery area. This generation's batteries have a 38Wh battery life of roughly 7 hours and a 45Wh battery life of more than 10 hours. The company has also integrated a 65 W quick charge, which takes the battery from empty to 80% in about an hour.

A dedicated DC-in connector, a pair of USB-C ports (one of which supports charging), an HDMI port, a USB-A port, a 3.5 mm audio input, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1 support are some of the other features of the Lenovo V15.
