Design

The Moondrop Space Travel boasts a futuristic design, featuring a glassy lid and a plastic bottom. The LED light embedded within the letter “A” of the logo at the bottom adds a touch of innovation. The charging case comes in two color themes: black and orange, as well as white and black.

In terms of comfort, the Space Travel earbuds offer a shallow in-ear fit, a design choice aimed at enhancing comfort, according to Moondrop. The earbuds align with the color themes of the cases and are equipped with a touch-control sensor at the back (both touch and swipe gestures work).

Audio and Mics

Delving into the audio features, the 13mm driver in Space Travel incorporates a titanium-plated dome diaphragm with a flexible suspension diaphragm underneath. A thin layer of CCAW (copper-clad aluminum wire) voice coil, along with a magnetic and circuit component, complements the driver.

Moreover, the earbuds house two microphones each, boasting a feedforward and feedback setup to achieve 35 dB of wide-band ANC. Users can also utilize the transparency mode in Moondrop’s Space Travel for added versatility.

Connectivity and others

On the connectivity front, Moondrop Space Travel’s low latency/game mode facilitates a swift 55 ms sound transmission during gaming. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures a stable connection within a 10-meter radius. For adjustments, users can utilize Moondrop’s Link 2.0 app directly from their smartphones.

Power-wise, the Space Travel earbuds pack a 37 mAh cell, providing approximately 4 hours of standalone usage. The charging case, equipped with a 380 mAh battery, extends the playtime by an additional 12 hours. In terms of recharging, the earpieces take an hour, while the case fully replenishes in an hour and a half when completely depleted.
