Design and Display

The OnePlus Nord CE6 keeps things sleek with a slim camera deco, golden-ratio curves, and a smooth finish. It comes in Fresh Blue and Pitch Black color options, with the latter featuring a low-reflection finish. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water. OnePlus has also used Crystal Guard display protection, with the phone tested for up to 25 drops and improved scratch and drop resistance.

The front houses a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports 1.07 billion colors, and reaches up to 1,800 nits HBM brightness. It also features 3,840Hz PWM dimming for reduced flicker and Aqua Touch 2.0 for improved touch response with wet or greasy fingers.

Chipset and Performance

Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord CE6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, built on a 4nm TSMC process. It uses an octa-core CPU with a 1+3+4 architecture and a prime core clocked at up to 2.7GHz. OnePlus pairs the chipset with a dedicated Touch Reflex Chip offering up to 3,200Hz instant touch sampling and a 6-axis gyroscope for gaming.

For thermal management, the phone packs a 5,000mm² vapor chamber with more than 33,000mm² of total heat dissipation area. It also features the HyperBoost Game engine with gaming-focused tools such as Footstep Sound Boost and Quick Startup.

Cameras

For photography, the OnePlus Nord CE6 features a 50MP main camera with dual-axis OIS and PDAF on the rear. It can record videos in up to 4K resolution. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus, a 90-degree field of view, and 4K video recording.

The phone also brings several AI-powered imaging tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Reframe, and AI Detail Boost.

Battery and Software

The OnePlus Nord CE6 packs a massive 7,500mAh battery, which OnePlus claims can provide more than 2.5 days of use under its test conditions. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, with 10 minutes of charging providing up to 1.5 hours of PUBG gameplay. The phone also supports bypass charging and reverse charging, allowing it to share power with other devices. OnePlus claims the battery can retain at least 80% of its capacity after five years of daily use under its specified testing conditions.

On the software side, the Nord CE6 runs OxygenOS 16 and comes with Google Gemini integration for features such as writing, planning, learning, and Gemini Live conversations with camera or screen sharing. OnePlus also promises smooth performance for up to six years.
