OnePlus has officially launched the Nord N200 5G in Nepal, the successor to the Nord N100. The N100 was among the most affordable phones featuring a 90Hz display.

Design and Display
The Nord N200 5G features a 6.49-inch LCD display, now with a 90Hz refresh rate explicitly listed in the specs. The resolution has been upgraded to 2400 x 1080 pixels.
The rear design includes a rectangular camera module, with the OnePlus logo centered. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
Performance
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G takes over from the Nord 10 5G as the brand’s most budget-friendly 5G device, thanks to the Snapdragon 480 SoC. This chipset, introduced last year, aims to make 5G more accessible and includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X51 5G modem, found in pricier chips like the Snapdragon 690. It is compatible with T-Mobile’s 5G network in the US.
Built on an 8nm process, the Snapdragon 480 features a dual-cluster CPU with 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. The Adreno 619 GPU handles graphics, and the chipset offers a 100% performance boost over the Snapdragon 460-powered Nord N100.
The phone comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage, expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card. Initially shipping with OxygenOS based on Android 11, the device is eligible for an Android 12 update.
Camera
As is typical with budget-friendly 5G phones, the Nord N200’s camera setup isn’t a major highlight. It retains the same triple-camera configuration as the N100, featuring a 13MP primary sensor, accompanied by two 2MP sensors for macro and B/W photography. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera.
Other Features
The phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity with other devices. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, similar to the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The Nord N200 is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB Type-C.
