OnePlus Pad

4.5Expert Score

OnePlus Pad is the company’s first-ever tablet. After nearly a decade in the smartphone industry, the brand finally ventured into the tablet market with the OnePlus Pad. It’s a high-end tablet powered by a flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, so it can handle even the most demanding tasks. Another highlight of the device is its display, which is the world’s first 7:5 aspect ratio screen, which OnePlus refers to as “ReadFit” and claims to be more squared in the form that ultimately delivers a better view. To get the most out of this device, you also get support for the OnePlus Stylus and a OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard. The screen is a 144Hz IPS LCD with 2K resolution, DCI-P3 gamut, and Dolby Vision support. You also get a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Audio support, making it an excellent choice for multimedia consumption. In terms of software, it includes OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13 which is better optimized to take advantage of the tablet’s large canvas. OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Pad globally, but pricing details are still under wraps. The OnePlus Pad will be available for pre-order in April 2023.
