POCO F7 Overview
Design and Display
The POCO F7 features a glass front and back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, paired with an aluminum frame. It carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, allowing immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. The phone supports dual nano-SIM cards and is available in Cyber Silver, Frost White, and Phantom Black.
The device sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1280 × 2772 pixels) and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 3200 nits peak brightness. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, along with a high touch sampling rate and PWM dimming for smoother viewing.
Performance
POCO F7 runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0. The company promises four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process. The octa-core CPU includes a Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.21GHz, paired with an Adreno 825 GPU. The phone offers up to 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, with no microSD card support.
Cameras
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and optical image stabilization, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The phone supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 60fps, as well as slow-motion video up to 960fps.
On the front, it has a 20MP camera with HDR support, capable of recording 1080p video.
Battery and Charging
The POCO F7 packs a 6,500mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging, which can charge the phone up to 80% in around 30 minutes. It also supports 22.5W reverse wired charging.
