Design

Promate Glitz-L has a cylindrical design with glass on the top and a grille at the bottom. The bottom grille houses controls as well as the ports required for its operation. Talking about the controls, it holds volume up/down, power control, play/pause, and what seems to be a disconnect button.

As the top part of Glitz-L is completely transparent, it can go completely 360° with the light show. There is no IP rating here, even though it is designed for portability. Moreover, it is available in three different color options: Black, Blue, and Red.

Audio and Connectivity

Not only does the light go 360°, but the sound produced also spreads all around the speaker. The 10W driver present has an impedance of 6 ohms. With this, Glitz-L can reproduce a wide range of frequencies, starting from 70Hz to 18kHz.

Additionally, the Glitz-L runs on the JL6965E chipset and Bluetooth 5.0, which operates between 2.40 and 2.480 GHz. You can connect a pair of these speakers for a stereo audio experience. Bluetooth is not the only option here—you can utilize the AUX/USB port or insert a microSD card for a wired connection.

Battery

On the battery side of things, there is an 1800mAh cell rated to last 6 hours of non-stop music. And Promate Glitz-L can charge within 2.5 hours using a 10W charger. There is also a two-year warranty on the product.
