Design

These earbuds feature a half-in-ear design with an elongated stem. They are accompanied by a charging case that comes in an ovular shape and is also on the longer end. A circular marking atop the stem serves as dedicated touch controls. Moreover, the Promate Lima sports an IPX4 rating, ensuring resistance against water exposure from any direction. They are available in two colour variants: Black, and White. A notable aspect of the Promate Lima earbuds lies in their packaging. A typical earbud package includes a charging cable, silicone tips, and sometimes a pouch. These earbuds have gone a step further by including a magnetic earphone strap and a soft silicone protective case. The former allows users to attach the buds for use as a neckband, while the latter safeguards the charging case from scratches.

Audio and Features

The Promate Lima comes equipped with dual 13mm drivers for audio delivery. Additionally, these earbuds also feature environmental noise cancellation through in-built high-quality microphones. Powered by an AD6973D4 chipset, they offer Bluetooth v5.3 for wireless connectivity, along with a Quick Pairing feature and access to phone voice assistants. In the battery department, each bud houses a 40 mAh cell, while the charging case boasts a larger 300 mAh unit. This configuration provides up to 7 hours of usage on a single charge. You get an additional 23 hours of playback when you combine it with the case. The charging time of the Promate Lima, when the battery runs low, is quite decent as well. It takes just 90 minutes to fill up via the USB Type-C interface.
