Realme C53 is a budget offering quite similar to the Realme C51. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has made some tweaks to this phone to separate it from its more affordable sibling. Here is a brief overview of the Realme C53.

Design and Display
The Realme C53 is a two-textured phone with a rounded rectangle shape and flat design. This unit measures 167.20 x 76.70 x 7.99 mm in dimensions and weighs about 186 grams. It is available in two colour options: Champion Gold, and Champion Black.
Up front, a massive 6.74” display greets us with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Even though it can reach a peak brightness of 560 nits and can display 16.7 million colours, it is an LCD panel, which is the standard for budget phones like this one.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Realme C53 also relies on a Unisoc Tiger T612 SoC. It isn’t a very good processor but a popular choice in this price range. Additionally, it is an octa-core chipset built on a 12nm process and can clock in at a maximum of 1.8GHz. It is further assisted by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
The Realme C53 offers an additional 4GB virtual RAM extension as well as storage expansion of up to 2TB via MicroSD card. On the software side of things, the Realme C53 comes with Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13. Furthermore, it offers a unique Mini Capsule feature, which is basically Apple’s Dynamic Island knock-off.
Camera and the rest
In terms of shooters, we have a 108MP primary camera with a 3x In-sensor Zoom capability. It receives assistance from a depth sensor that Realme has opted to remain silent about. And on the front, we have an 8MP camera that is assisted by AI for selfies.
The Realme C53 has dual-SIM support with 4G LTE, dual WiFi, and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. You do not have any NFC support here. And lastly, juicing up the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging support via USB Type-C Port.
