Redmi A5 4G Overview
Xiaomi is getting ready to release the Redmi Note 14 series in Bangladesh on March 20, after launching the Redmi Note 14s. However, another device, the Redmi A5 4G, has already appeared in stores without an official announcement.
Design and Display
The Redmi A5 4G has a 6.88-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and likely a 720p+ resolution. It comes in Black, Blue, Green and Silver colors and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for easy unlocking. It comes with a dimension of 171.7 x 77.8 x 8.3 mm weighing 193 grams.
Performance
The Redmi A5 4G runs on a Unisoc T7250 processor with 4G support. It has two powerful Cortex-A75 cores running at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6GHz. It also has a Mali-G57 GPU at 850MHz. Its performance is similar to the Helio G81 Ultra in the Redmi A3 Pro but weaker than the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 in the Redmi A4.
Camera, Battery, and Others
The front camera is upgraded to 8MP from the previous 5MP. However, the rear camera has been downgraded to 32MP from the 50MP cameras in earlier models. The phone comes with a 5,200mAh battery that supports 18W charging. However, the package includes a 15W charger.
