Redmi launched three new TWS earbuds in its 6 series in 2024: Active, Lite, and Play. The Play and Lite models have now made their way to Nepal. Let's take a closer look at the design, specs, and official price of the Redmi Buds 6 Play here.
Redmi Buds 6 Play Overview:
Design and Body
The design of the Redmi Buds 6 Play is similar to the Redmi Buds 6 Lite but with a shorter stem and matte finish. These earbuds have a bean shape and an in-ear fit. They come with an IPX4 rating for protection against water splashes. Each earbud weighs 4.2 grams, which is a bit heavier than the Redmi Buds 6 Active but still portable. The charging case has a sleek, curved shape and a small light indicator. The earbuds are available in Blue and White.
Audio and ANC
The Redmi Buds 6 Play feature 10mm dynamic drivers. They include AI-driven noise-reduction technology for clearer calls. The earbuds offer five EQ modes: Standard, Enhanced Bass, Enhanced Voice, Enhanced Treble, and Enhanced Volume. These modes help to reduce background noise and highlight human voices, even in noisy settings.
Battery and Others
The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.4 for efficient connectivity and support low-energy, HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles. A one-tap pairing function is available but currently only works with Android devices. The Buds 6 Play have a 57mAh battery in each earbud and a 600mAh battery in the charging case. The earbuds provide up to 7.5 hours of playtime on one charge, with a total of 36 hours using the case. A quick 10-minute charge gives about 3 hour of playback, making them great for quick use.
